Breaking a Habit: Getting Rid of Empty Boxes

While the rest our apartment is a glowing example of well utilized space, our closet has always been our deep, dirty secret. If we were politicians, this would be our cover up secret we'd be hiding in fear of scandal. The number one culprit is an overflow of empty boxes. Vacuum boxes, appliance boxes, computer boxes, an empty Xbox 360 box...they're all stored away because of an innate fear we'll need them to ship/return defective items and taking way too much room. Plus they can come in handy for shipping packages.

But enough is enough. We want our closet back, so we finally got serious and broke down a small skyline of stacked boxes and threw them into the recycling bin. Because we can always get a new box, but we can't buy additional square footage in our closets.
