The 68-year-old star touched down in the UK yesterday, but rather than have a member of staff push along a Louis Vuitton trunk, there wasn't a luxury piece of luggage in signt and instead she pushed a large cardboard box.

The battered box balanced on top of the trolley and was covered in thick black top - meaning that perhaps whatever was inside was very important.

Dame Helen was more than happy to push the large container herself, despite having just sat on a long-haul flight from Los Angeles.

Despite wearing no make-up whatsoever, the 'RED 2' star still managed to look good and was dressed casually in black trousers, a cream coat and a checked scarf.

The British actress was without her husband Taylor Hackford, who has accompanied Dame Helen to various award ceremonies in the US over the past month.

This Sunday she will be in attendance at this year's BAFTA Awards where she is being presented with the prestigious BAFTA Fellowship award.

She will no doubt be jetting back over to Hollywood at the end of this month just in time for the Academty Awards which take place on March 2.
